i had always hoped one day we would go back to how it was pouring sweat into each chord losing our voices just because i know my leaving home is what made us drift apart though it was a short time we had everything felt right from the start now you're gone no matter how loud i sing you'll never hear me you gave us something to believe what's left to believe? in the back of my mind i knew you would always be there for me id call you up about a show you were stoked on it instantly from what im told, and what ive seen things weren't going as you had planned when things were rough back home you stepped up to be the man now every time i go to shows i still see your face in the crowd in the stage dives and the piles the kids screaming so loud but i cant help but think there's still something missing i dont want to believe you're gone and all we have left is reminiscing
