Scattered Piles
03:45
Unfinished business left to rot, only taking up space in a dead end lot. Totally run out and useless, I’m left to fend for myself in these scattered piles. While they’re all blowing up I’m covered in debris, from casting off these sections of who I used to be, in an attempt to validate all I’ve lost, and what I’ve lost in these scattered piles. I match the scenery, scattered piles.

June On June St.
02:51
Well it’s a broken system, didn’t we all know that? They owe us a fucking living not some social pact that says, “one is better than the other” and on and on, we get the point. So I’m waiting and watching, for june on june street. It’s a brand new day, didn’t we all need that? About time we tore down outdated social pacts that say “the man over the woman, and the straight over the queer” it’s like they didn’t know, we’re standing right here, and we’re all waiting. Caught up in a whirlwind, somehow I am standing still.

This Will Do
02:21
We brush it off, treating history like the loose tooth that it is. I can’t see the signs and I don’t pretend to, the experience is not mine. I’ve got all my life to figure out just what I don’t know. I’m caged and broken, just clinging to hope that compassion’s still alive. Caged and broken, just clinging to hope. This will have to do, for now.

All The Songs
01:26
All the songs I’ve sung, have somehow led up to this one. Some undeniable truth from my mouth, straight to you. If only I could figure out what you really wanted to hear, I wouldn’t be singing alone. All the years I spent, trying to make things right. With nothing to show for it, try as I might.

Rained All Day
04:08
Rained all day, and if I could I would rain too, down on you. In spite of all we know, we are still surprised. Snow fell all day, and if I could I would fall too, all around you. In spite of all we know, we are still surprised. Shouldn’t that be enough? I’m sure by now that’s enough.

Record Sides
02:50
Time goes by, in record sides. Flip them over on their backs. Watch me slowly as I fade to nothing, effortlessly before your eyes. Don’t give in to routine. We get stuck on second tries, spinning around in circles. Let’s sort it out, what this really means to us, and take some time to live that life.

The Nights Will Catch Up
01:01
What lights a fire beneath you? What makes you get up each day? Do you make your bed to sleep in it, or do you make it to walk away? I rise and I set, much like the sun at the end of days, as the earth revolves, we remain set in our ways. There’s nothing left to say.

As It Unfolds
04:26
I go south in the winter, I’m just running from the cold. The same pattern for centuries and on and on, after some time you think it would get old, but no. I go down to the corner, sirens up and down the street. You would think that today they would put something on their feet, but no. As it unfolds, watch it all go. I burn now with the fire, I’m just trying to stay cool. All want and desire are at the bottom of a pool, oh no.
